What is Aadhar

Aadhaar is a 12 digit individual identification number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India(UIDAI). on behalf of the Government of India.

This number will serve as a proof of identity and address, anywhere in India.

Each individual needs to enroll only once which is free of cost.
Aadhaar issued by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) will serving a unique identification of all individuals residing in India and may be used as a identity proof and/ or address proof all over the country.

It is useful for all the Govt and Non-Govt services employee.
Any individual resident in India who satisfies the verification process required by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) ireespective of age and gender could enroll for Aadhaar.
After completing the verification and formalities Aadhaar Card with a unique number will be provided to an individual and will remain valid for life.
